Another table built for a friend; this is a cherry slab from Alderfer Lumber, waterfalled over the left side. I trimmed the back side flat and left the front live edge untouched.
The cherry comes from a different tree from the previous project; it’s paler and less figured. But beautifully solid with some very nice tone; the contrast between heartwood and sapwood is especially nice.
The leg is from Flowyline designs. I’ll be building a few other projects with Flowyline legs in the next couple months: a waterfall river epoxy desk, a console table, a coffee table. More to come. For now here’s a gallery of other views.
